INTERVIEW
‘Since when are you making beats?’
I’ve started diggin (hip-hop) music when I listened to the debut album of the Wu-Tang Clan for the first time and from there I just went nuts.. I wanted to know it all. How it started, where it started, who it started and what it became and what it is and what it is going to be. Just everything.
It’s an obsession.
When I was younger I got ‘HipHop eJay’ which was like the most basic DAW one could have to get started. We made songs called ‘The Bus Rap’ and I’ve called myself ‘Shownight Killah’.. which says it all.
Anyways.. after a few more years (I am 16/17 now) I’ve got into FL Studio and some years after I’ve decided to get me the MPC2000XL, which I own to this day besides the Yamaha SU700 and a Tascam M-320 board which I use in combination with FL Studio.
‘Who are your influences?’
First of my friends and homies from JINDUJUN and everyone involved and I had the honour to get in touch with are my biggest influences and motivation.
Besides that I really like the work of the RZA, Q-Tip, Lord Finesse, Buckwild, Nick Wiz, Klaus Layer, Figub Brazlevic such and such to name a few..
‘How would you define your style?’
Raw and uncut.
‘Further on, how would you define your self?’
I’d describe myself as a quiet and relaxed person.. kinda ambivert. I like to sit back and just observe things.. and let my thoughts sink.
..but there’s also the exact opposite inside of me.
‘Could you describe your workflow?’
There is no certain procedure I follow, which is also maybe my problem 😀
I always try to start in a new way and experiment with stuff, bust mostly I’ll start with some drums and just go from there. Or I hear a sample and look for drums which could fit the feeling I get.
‘Where can we find your music?’
Most of my stuff you can find on SoundCloud, YouTube or now also on Spotify. There are also some cassette tapes, which I made myself and only gave to my friends with very very raw unreleased demo stuff.
‘What is your ultimate goal?’
My ultimate goal would be to do what I love each and every day. Being healthy and happy.
‘How would you divine your mind set in one sentence?’
on and on.

‘What does JINDUJUN mean to you?’
