‘Since when are you making beats?’
I started making beats around the age of 15. everybody wanted to rap back in the days. i wanted to make beats.
I‘m quite a introverted Person and that seems to fit better than the extroverted, punching words in everybody‘s faces, guy.
With a break for some years, in which here and there some Music was made, i‘m back into making music since 2019 like 24/7 all day every day. Its almost Like Bad Habits.
Being able to make music, spending countless Money that i dont have for analog stuff – is what drives me today.
‘Who are your influences?’
As a kid from the 90s, its Hiphop from the 90s. DJ premier, Pete rock, dilla, nate dogg, to me no matter the coast. Reggae music. Further on, i‘m influenced by multiple genres.
‘How would you define your style?’
It needs groove. If it’s grooving, it’s good.
‘Could you describe your usual workflow?’
I start with what inspires me.
Usually that means flipping the sample, adding drums and moving on from there.
‘What is your ultimate goal in life?’
Having moments that make you forget space and time, some sort of Flow in mind.
‘How would you divine your mind set in one sentence?’
Dont overthink shit, overthink shit, dont overthink shit, overthink shit.
‘Name some of your favourite albums.. top 5 maybe?
(I know – hard ass question but you may narrow it down into special eras like – 70s, 90s, 2000s or genres like new and old school, jazz, hip-hop..name as many you want!)
let’s get free, Grind date, blackout, 2001, Deluxe Soundsystem, journey to jah.
Thanks for your time 🙂
God bless 🙏
